During a recent trip to the John Hancock Center's lounge on the 95th floor, I was certainly expecting spectacular views of downtown Chicago. And the lounge did not disappoint - except for the fact that we were not lucky enough to snag a window side table. Imagine my surprise and delight when a trip to the restroom resulted in this photo! The women's restroom harbors the same magnificent views as the restaurant and allows visitors to stand right up against the glass (without disturbing any other patron's experience). In the top right corner of the photo, you can see a piece of the iconic cross bracing, designed to resist wind forces. Apologies to the gentlemen though - the men's restroom boasts no windows.
